Kala Chashma: A Natural Wonder

Kala Chashma is one of the most beautiful sights in Kumrat. The name Kala Chashma also means ‘black spring’, people look for it and it does justice to its appearance. This area has many water springs where visitors can soak their feet or simply enjoy the coolness of the water. The calmness of this spring makes it a rewarding experience for all the travelers in Kumrat Valley. It is quite invigorating to be around the spring with sounds of water, fresh air, and green forests.

Panjkora River: A Fisherman’s Heaven

A place that the visitors of Kumrat can also go to is the Panjkora River. This river is especially for all the tourists and swirls in the valley which adds beauty. Fishermen love this river because it is cold and clear and is filled with trout fish. Surrounded by picturesque hills, the waters of the Panjkora River are peaceful and clean, offering the best fishing environment where scenery and serenity can be enjoyed. Jama Masjid Thal: A Historic Marvel

Kumrat Valley is not only an untouched paradise, but it also houses a remarkable heritage. This is best embodied in the Jama Masjid Thal. Located in the central part of the valley, this mosque was built entirely of wood in 1865. The large wooden columns and beams that are still standing today and of which no modern carpentry was used are good examples of how more than a hundred years of construction history used to be back then. The mosque is not only a house of prayer but plays an important role as a cultural monument where the history and customs of the region can be studied. Kumrat is a place where one can appreciate not only the picturesque scenery but also the simple but grand building which reflects the skills of the long-gone people.

 Day 00 – 01

  • Short stay on the way

  • Pick-up members from Lahore

  • Breakfast at Timergara around 8:00-9:00 am

  • Arrival at Thal 

  • Transfer to Jeeps for Kumrat Valley

  • Arrival at Kumrat around 3:00-4:00 pm

  • Dinner and night stay at Kumrat (camping)

 Day 02

  • Breakfast at 8:00 am

  • Visit Kumrat Waterfall on jeeps

  • Visit Kala Chashma

  • Photography stay over enroute to destination

  • Return back to the campsite before sunset

  • BBQ dinner and night stay at Kumrat

 Day 03

  • Breakfast at 7:00 am

  • Departure for Thal 8:00 am

  • Transfer to coaster for Lahore

  • Depart for Lahore with beautiful memories

  • Arrival at Lahore around 2:00 am (time may vary)
